November 8th is election day! 

Here are some quick facts about voting in Georgia.

Your library staff has created an Elections 2016 guide with lots of useful information. There is of course information about the candidates, fact-checking, news coverage, and more. Check it out even if you know who you are voting for. 

Celebrate your freedom to read!

September 25-October 1, 2016 is Banned Books Week. 

Each year during this week we celebrate our freedom to read and the value of free access to information. 

Check out the list of top 10 challenged books in 2015. Some of them might surprise you. 

If you have a few minutes, watch some of the virtual read-out videos. There are celebrity readings and thoughts on censorship. There are also readings by people like you and me.
