A name we should know

Because it's Open Access Week.
Because we all care about and use information.
Because we all deserve access to information.

Aaron Swartz.

Aaron Swartz (1986-2013) was a prodigy and a wizard. He helped bring information to people via the Internet, and later fought to keep that information free and open.

The award-winning 2014 documentary about Swartz: The Internet's Own Boy, is available for free (he was an information activist, after all) from the Internet Archive.

I know I will be watching it.
