Elberton Campus library news
Enjoy a slideshow of ATSAC-sponsored birdhouses. Each one was painted by a different department on campus. When you visit in the spring, take a walk around the lake and you will see them.
Now that you've seen them, vote for your favorite!
And finally, don't forget to join us for a study break in the Library. December 9th between 9am and 3pm.

A name we should know
Because it's Open Access Week.
Because we all care about and use information.
Because we all deserve access to information.
Aaron Swartz.
Aaron Swartz (1986-2013) was a prodigy and a wizard. He helped bring information to people via the Internet, and later fought to keep that information free and open.
The award-winning 2014 documentary about Swartz: The Internet's Own Boy, is available for free (he was an information activist, after all) from the Internet Archive.
I know I will be watching it.

ATC Author Reception
Our very own David List has published his book A Sawmill's Hope. Come check it out at the library!
The reviews are coming in on Amazon, and they are all very positive:
"A Sawmill's Hope is a great read."
"This work was well written and a good introduction into the world of Silexare."
"... David List has done a great job creating a world in his mind and bringing it to life for others, I can't wait for a follow up book!"
The library held a reception for David on September 25th.
